The Lost Children of Bioko Island

When a group of African-Americans begin their journey of self-discovery
journey of self-discovery by taking a DNA test to reveal their African ancestral roots, they discover that they are from the Bubi people of Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea. After joining the African Ancestry online community, they are offered the opportunity to start learning their ancient mother tongue called ëtyö. During this online language class, with the care and encouragement of their teacher Ntá Bösöpë Boleka, this group of strangers, The Lost Boys of Bioko Island, continue their journey together and begin to speak their language, learn their culture and come together to become one. To become Bubi.
